I created a light painting background that's now available for download

I recently tried my hand at some light painting. If you're not familiar with that, it's basically when you set up a camera on a tripod, shoot with a long exposure, and "paint" in mid-air with a light source during the exposure.

In my case, I put my Lumix G3 on my Gorillapod and set the camera up like so:
- Lens: Lumix 20mm f/1.7
- Manual mode
- Aperture: f/16
- ISO: 160
- Shutter Speed: 3.2"
- White Balance: Auto

And here's what I got after a few doodles:

You can download this image for use as a background here.

Depending on the light source you use to paint, you can get different colors and "brush strokes". It works surprisingly similarly to *actual* painting.

For this particular picture, I used an LED torch. The LED has a cool, white color to it and has a small diffuser/focal lens as a cover.

Try it yourself! I think you'll enjoy the results.
